RE:RE:RE:Earnings out I don't understand the logic on focusing on revenue growth. I have always been from the mindset of work less and make more. And that is what the folks at GSY do.
Adjusted Quarterly Net Income of $36.7 million, up 67%
Adjusted Quarterly Diluted Earnings per Share of $2.34, up 66%
Make little more profit from the same amount of revenue. Air lines used to chase revenue growth at the expense of profits. Thank goodness there are some sane people in business.
And why would you look south across the border? Thiis company has no presence there. Major Canadian banks do but this company is 100% Canadian based. If I am wrong please correct me but I have not read anything like that. Inflation will come on but modern lenders like GSY have algorithms that can be adapted to changes in the lending landscape. I was invvested in a non-prime lender that tweeked their algorithm every 9 hours and that was 15 years ago.
I think yesterday the short traders just went shopping for some investors who made the mistake of setting stop loss limits...And found them.
