RE:RE:RE:Q1 ResultsVery much agree MM - and Sebastien himself acknowledged that he and the company aren't there yet but are seeking to build that reputation.
Whilst my CFD positions are relatively short-term (speculating on the impact of the London listing, I'm prepared to sit with my core holding for the long-term as the company executes and build.
Unlike some investors, I prefer to get my exposure to the gold price through dividend paying quality gold miners, rather than holding the metal directly. And I want some gold exposure in my portfolio, as a hedge against economic and political uncertainty.
I've been pretty happy with the management team's performance over the last 5 years. They've largely delivered on their promises of improving EDV's mine portfolio and with a reasonably successful exploration programme, delivering the bottom end of their 5 year explo target. In my eyes the only significant blot on the copybook was the acquisition of True Gold. Karma has never really delivered much. Wonder whether they'll ever make anything of Liguidi? Doesn't seem to figure high on the target list.
Cheers,
Mark
