RE:RE:RE:Torch Production Equipment NR

RE:RE:RE:Torch Production Equipment NR

This equipment is a 3D powder.  And it's to build torches.  Lots of them.  No doubt.

It fits:

- a 1MM$ price definition

- the definition of "state-of-the-art"
- the definition of "an equipment that has wide range of of capabilities".

So it could also serve to make Drossrite pieces too, on top of torches.

These industrial 3D printers are built to last and to be extremely durable. These are often metal 3D printers using DMLS, Binder Jetting or EBM technologies.

These printers offer extremely fast speeds and multiple part simultaneous printing, entering territory where 3D printing can be considered a viable short to medium volume manufacturing option. They are used in huge factories, for automotive companies like BMW, and in the space and medical sectors.

If you’re wondering how much a metal 3D printer costs, they’re difficult to find for less than $80,000. Many fall in the $100,000-$300,000 bracket, with some, such as Concept Laser’s X Line 2000R, costing several million dollars.

In addition to the high price, they may require frequent maintenance check-ups by trained company staff, and the materials used to print, making them some of the most expensive 3D printers – but they offer extremely high-quality parts.

Raglo ... It crossed my mind too.  This equipment is a 3D powder.  And it's to build torches.  Lots of them.  No doubt.

It fits:

- a 1MM$ price definition
- the definition of "state-of-the-art"
- the definition of "an equipment that has wide range of of capabilities".

And it becomes your
carte de visite to show your aerospace and OEM clients what you can do with your own titanium powder.

And the justification behind this 1MM$ equipment can only come from strong interest from your Client A, B, C (and those from addtional industries (cement, etc ...) that appear on the corporate presentation).

And Peter yesterday re-confirmed that the iron pelletization contracts were all on-track.

So indeed, what a better way for PYR to show to aerospace companies and OEMs that are already awaiting powders from this new state-of-the-art production line what it can do with its powder than to build torches with it, considering that they hinted us this:

May 12 - 3D powder (titanium):

The strategic decision previously made to delay powder production to incorporate several revolutionary improvements into the existing production line (increased production rate, lower CAPEX, lower OPEX, narrower particle size distribution) means that PyroGenesis is entering the AM powder market with a production line which management believes is the low-cost producer in its class. Management also believes that the NexGen™ powder production line will also enable PyroGenesis to uniquely process materials which, until today, did not seem economically feasible,”

May 13 - $1MM in state-of-the-art plasma torch production equipment in its new facility

This equipment has a wide range of capabilities and will significantly reduce the manufacturing time of our plasma torches. For example, parts that previously took 4 hours to manufacture will now take 15 minutes. PyroGenesis will produce parts faster and at lower cost, thereby reducing delivery times while increasing profitability.”

Bootstrapping? Build plasma torch, use to produce powder for 3D printing, buy 3D printer use powder to build parts for more torches , use them to produce powder for 3D printing, etc. etc. pretty soon you have a production line now all we need is a robots and AI , just like Elon Musk:)
