Antimony

AntimonySomething to take note of from the Bayhorse Silver tweet on antimony, which writes: "Mineralization at the Bayhorse Silver Mine is dominated by Tetrahedrite, mainly copper/silver/antimony," and which then links to a visualcapitalist article.

The article explains that antimony is a critical metal, useful for all kinds of applications. But scroll down the page and you will see this remark:

"In 2020, there was no domestic mined production of antimony in the U. S."

As @wanderer9641 says on ceo.ca, antimony will be relatively cheap so long as it keeps coming in from elsewhere. But what happens if China and Russia cut off the supply? This rather reminds me of Rick Rule's rationale for investing in platinum. Namely that if you had political chaos in South Africa (where most platinum is mined), the price would soar to the moon.
