$EATS portfolio company Nabati Foods plans to go public under ticker $MEAL

As of march they’ve raised 7.7 M in preparation of their IPO.

A couple days ago, Nabati announced the opening of a new manufacturing plant in Edmonton. The new facility will allow the company to meet wholesale demand and enter the European market, Nabati CEO says.

It is five times larger than its pilot facility, and is expected to produce 1.2 M pounds of plant based cheese and 1 M of plant based meat.

CEO Ahmad Yehya states the necessity of the new plant in response to the enormous demand of Nabati products in grocery, foodservice, and industrial sectors across North America.

“By significantly increasing our production capacity, we will be in a strong position to capitalize on growing customer demand.”
