Also on the DD and conspiracy front.  It you look at both the CIO and CTO linkedin pages neither had a job when their employment ended.  The CTO posted actively looking for work and the CIO still doesn't have a job.  They Company had a replacement right away.  Those are clear indications that the Company was already looking for a replacement and let them go once they found the right person.
 

New CTO compared to old CTO.  

10 more years experience
10 years of healthcare IT experience compared to none for old CTO.  Including working for the CEO previously at Vitalhub
A degree compared to no degree for old CTO
Senior Executive experience compared to no Senior level experience for old CTO
