Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc. is a real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company’s portfolio consists of upscale hotels and upper upscale full-service hotels. It is focused on investing in upper upscale full-service hotels in the United States. The Company owns its lodging investments and conducts its business through Ashford Hospitality Limited Partnership (Ashford Trust OP), its operating partnership. The Company’s hotel properties are primarily branded under the upscale and upper upscale brands of Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott and Intercontinental Hotel Group. It has interests in approximately 100 consolidated hotel properties, which represent 22,316 total rooms. It also owns an interest in approximately 79 hotel condominium units at WorldQuest Resort in Orlando, Florida (WorldQuest), approximately 15.1 % ownership in OpenKey, Inc. and approximately 32.5% ownership in 815 Commerce Managing Member, LLC. Ashford Hospitality Advisors LLC is the investment advisor of the Company.

RE:RE:RE:AHTI hear you and feel your pain. So what I did was buy more and dropped my average. I hold a very healthy amount of shares and the skies are looking much less cloudy.
