I would suspect Ceapro can pass through any supplier price increases unless contract is otherwise (in which case they should have tried to pass same terms on to their suppliers). However, I suspect they may be in the middle of bigger suppliers and bigger customers so they could get squeezed a bit.
Canadian dollar is a definite headwind but this is not controllable (except through hedging) so cant get too excited about that in the short term.
Costs should definitely decrease through the plant consolidation and would expect to see that. Also govt money available for pretty much all aspects of their business (covid, R&D, etc...).
Cosmetics business should be picking up and that should already be reflected in demand and we should get better visibility on how that is trending.
Need some news on how the ramp-up is coming and progress to ultimate capacity and revenue targets.
Would also like to hear that there are actual returns targeted for the "new ventures" rather than following the trend of the day and seeing if anything sticks.
I would like to think that I am misjudging the situation but that is hard due to communication that is based on cheerleading. PLAN / ACTION / RESULTS repeat.
