Bedard on BNNTwo key out-takes for me.
1) Jolliette will be operational in second half of '22.
2) In two years they expect to produce 23000 vehicles. Presumably from both QC and IL plants.
The host (thankfully) didn't ask whether the weight of the batteries will allow the buses to run on our highways. He did ask whether a $4b CAD M/C was appropriate for a company with $6m in sales. That didn't seem to phase Marc at all.
I remember seeing price for buses quoted at $300k, $350k, and $400k. Don't know what trucks are selling for, presumably much lower. Let's arbitrarily posit a blended unit price of $250k for the fleet.
Or $5,750,000,000 in top line sales.
A $4b M/C may be low if Bedard's numbers pan out.
