Obviously there is a lot of political unrest in the two largest copper producing regions. Imagine the devastation from COVID- very few social nets there I suspect. Locals are quite likely enraged to see their country and it's citizens being exploited while they work for peanuts in the mines. If taxing the miners helped give people a better standard of living-great, however, I suspect corrupt government will benefit more. One way or the other, there will be a price to pay for miners in that region. All the more reason Cmmc is in an enviable position in my opinion.
