RE:RHC—a comparison With so few helium explorers out there, I thought I'd again ruminate on the events at Royal Helium (I do not hold, having sold my shares a month or so back).
They announced yesterday that they are intending to raise $10m; this figure was increased to $15m in response to very strong interest in the cash-raising (confirming again the significant interest in the helium story currently).
Anyhow, by my calculations Royal Helium will,
after this fund-raising (fully diluted, so including all warrants and options), have around 172m shares. In comparison, Desert Mountain, fully diluted, is a smidgen under 80m shares. And Royal Helium, I believe, will not be fully-funded to first production (so more dilution probably to come), whereas Desert Mountain should be fully-funded to first production once these warrants close. That's nothing against Royal Helium, but Desert Mountain's combination of a strong cash position and low number of shares does make it a stand out among, not just other helium explorers, but I'd argue most natural resource explorers too.
Should be spudding in the next day or two. Fingers crossed for a successful well...
