RE:RE:RE:RE:William Frederick Irvine I would agree it is, on the whole, positive. In theory, having such a large portion of the stock concentrated in a few hands should provide a floor. It would be interesting to know if Irvine has sympathy with Lembit - certainly he has been very quiet in comparison, which might speak volumes. The fact that he is now adding to an already significant position is very encouraging in terms of future SP appreciation.
The downside would be whether the large shareholders could band together and do something like take the Trust private. I don't see that as a realistic outcome at this point, and you'd be looking at double digits in terms of price per share.
Quebec's rapid shift to open restaurants is bound to put some pressure on Ford to follow suit. Let's hope the numbers keep coming down the way they have been.
