RE:Some would sayWelcome to EXRO. I believe you've picked a great candidate to start out with and have gotten in at a good price; my average is $1 higher and I am very positive about the future (while acknowledging this is a high risk bet). This exactly the kind of company a young investor should gamble on (and it is a gamble at this point) while also diversifying your portfolio with less volatile companies. Your own DD is imperative and no advice offered on a BB should be considered. Now, I am going to offer you some advice (lol) that was instrumental in helping guide me in my investing decisions. I would like to qualify my suggestion by stating I am categorically opposed to investment advisors (they all have an agenda and it's more about lining their pockets than helping you) who offer to 'help' you in your wealth management. My suggestion is to subscribe to 5i Research for about $175/year - they are a subscriber based service - I have learned more about investing in Canadian companies by reading subscriber questions about various Canadian companies through this service than anywhere else. This is where I first learned about EXRO. They sell nothing and don't trade in Canadian companies, allowing them to offer unbiased opinions. The research they do in responding to questions (insider buying/selling etc.) is very helpful in choosing companies to invest in. I hope this isn't seen as pushing some service, I've genuinely found it to have been a tremendous asset in helping me choose small and mid-cap Canadian companies, as well as offering sound portfolio construction advice.
