Now if archegos (this happened) becomes unbalanced, then they have to start covering shorts, selling longs and/or raising cash to get back into margin requirements. Once the dominoes start really falling, I don't think any of the short positions remain which means the massive shorting on this stock will help it climb into likely exciting cannabis US news. Buy a ticket for the ride, or don't, it makes no difference to me. Just don't be stupid and sell when the RSI is in the 30s
