RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:good news bad newsThe energy picture is somewhat complicated for the US as not only crude but also nat gas ,petrochemicals, petroleum products, LNG  , coal and electricity have to be taken into consideration.
most of the info can be found on the EIA site . But you will need to do your homework !!
Crude Plus Products are in close balance, the US is probably a net importer of electricity but I would imagine that coal LNG nat gas and petrochemicals are a net export energy for them
