I have been waiting for AQN to back off for awhile along with the other renewables.

It looks like BEP-UN is recovering as it is up over 10% since bottoming out. 

AQN hasn't recovered yet, so it might still be searching for a bottom.  However, at a 4.5% yield and with Biden promising a green future, AQN looks less risky these days.

That sure is coincidental that he read my post below from yesterday about renewables bottoming and then acted on it. It's also interestig that the Midiot doesn't seem to know that AQN is actually only 30% renewables and 70% regulated utilities so it really shouldn't be compared to BEP.UN.

As an aside, AQN is my favourite holding with our first purchase being in Nov, 2011 at $5.55. It has been very, very good to us and I actually think it is at a good entry price right now.

Late last year, I predicted ENB would hit $50 before the end of May but proabably wouldn't hold it. Good old ENB gave it a grand effort and got to $49.13 but it obviously isn't quite going to crack $50 so it's time for a new date. My new prediction is ENB is going to have a rough time for the next while but will crack that elusive $50 before the end of Sept.

I had also made a prediction near the end of last year saying that pure renewables were going to get creamed and midstreameres were going to have a good run. That was a spot on prediction but I am now ready to predict that pure renewables have bottomed.

As usual, my wife & I havee absolutely zero plans to sell even a single share of ENB!!
