Natural gas question out of curiosity

Dale always mentions that Crew gets a premium for their natural gas because it has high propane content and burns hotter or something like that. I was wondering when all of these companies share common pipelines to Chicago for example, does the gas mix as it travels or how do they keep Crew's gas separate? If I'm a customer in Chicago paying a premium for Crew's gas, how do I know that I'm getting that premium gas? Just curious in case someone on here knows how it works.
