They are trying to shake shares loose by selling small amounts to each other and constantly bashing the board.

They don't want buyers to come in, they want you to sell your shares. So seeing the buys they will try to raise it up so you buy higher than repeat the selling game to themselves in hopes you sell in a few days.

This keeps up until we get some good news or big buyers come in and than a nice little squeeze starts.
