RE:RE:the only ones taking over HPQ is...In accordance with an already-established contract between HPQ and PYR all PYR has to do is wiggle their nose to acquire 50% of HPQ Nano, the subsidiary of the entity we know as V.HPQ which we have shares in. It is my understanding that this potential acquisition of HPQ Nano (not V.HPQ) does not involve any money transfer so no money comes to V.HPQ shareholders if/when this acquisition is triggered (unfortunately for us). The question I have is whether PYR's existing ownership chunk of V.HPQ is sufficient for the officers and directors of PYR to be considered "insiders" of V.HPQ right now, before the 50% ownership of HPQ Nano is triggered. If they are already insiders of V.HPQ then they will know about any buyout of HPQ Nano before retail investors like us on this board know about it so any announcement that PYR has exercized their option to acquire 50% of HPQ Nano might be considered a trigger event to look for to anticipate that HPQ Nano is about to be taken out. If the current ownership chunk of V. HPQ enjoyed by PYR and therefore the directing minds of PYR is insufficient for the directing minds of PYR to be considered insiders of V.HPQ then, on paper, PYR will not and should not know about any impending buy-out of HPQ Nano by a third entity until all the rest of us know about it. Again, there are no common officers or directors shared between V. HPQ and V. PYR so the directing minds of each corporation are separate and distinct unless the ownership chunk currently held by PYR in HPQ makes them so.
If PYR is the logical buyer of HPQ Nano in future the first 50% is easy and cheap beyond belief for them but does PYR have the financial ability to come up with the anticipated multi-billions required to make up the remaining 50%? I don't know the answer to this question. I am happy to hear from anyone who has an issue with my logic. Thats what this board is all about.
