Forbes&Manhatten and Aznalcóllar

Forbes&Manhatten and Aznalcóllar
Hi @Drjimjones

I saw that you were asked about Stan Bharti and Forbes&Manhatten at CEO.CA. Would be great if they could give your take on it here.

David Grower was an independent director at F&M. BoD member Marilia Bento of EMO was Managing Director at F&M for 6 years. So there are pretty good relationships there.

Interestingly, these jobs are not mentioned in their vita on the EMO homepage.

With interest I followed your calculations in case of a possible award of Aznalcllar. Thereby you mentioned among others, that besides other infrastructures the taillings are present.

You are surely aware that one of the biggest environmental disasters in Spain occurred at the Aznalcllar mine 23 years ago. The consequences of the catastrophe have not yet been overcome on site, and Greenpeace is watching further developments with a wary eye.

My personal assessment is: If there should ever be a producing mine Aznalcllar, then certainly not in this decade and definitely not a large-scale mine.
