Kidd creek is the richest VMS deposit in the world and the original pit was a license to print money. The mine is now the deepest accessible point below sea level on the planet.

The Creighton is the deepest mine in Sudbury, and in both cases there's still lots of cheddar 7,000-10,000 ft diwn, but how much does it cost to haul all that almost 2 miles to thr surface?
