MVC, located in Chile, has a long-term contract with the El Teniente Division (DET) of Corporacion Nacional del Cobre de Chile (Codelco) to process fresh and historic tailings from El Teniente. The Company operates in one segment, the production of copper concentrates under a tolling agreement with DET.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:People are funnyChina is in a bit of a pickle because they will kill their economy without copper so while they say they are going to "try" to keep the price down they will fail. Ford, GM, WV, Chrysler are all making electric vehicles and that alone will continue the upward momentum (wind turbines etc.)

As for Chile, well that is 3 years away and a lot can happen in 3 years.

Bottom line is the current SP doesn't reflect $4 copper. Their books are cleaned up and in the not too distant future I think we will see the dividend come back or perhaps an expansion funded with operating income. I bet there are huge tailings from old copper mines in NA that they could setup shop to do the same.
