RE:RE:Pretium today....No doubt some of the investors in Pretium have stacked the deck in their favour and the SEC does nothing. Are they complicit too in market manipulation to line their own pockets?
Short selling is just another sleight of hand move embraced by self serving types which destroys the integrity of the market and kills some of the new ipos before they even have a chance. It is not right and just because the other guy is doing it doesn't make it so.
I believe that selling something you don't own is wrong and shouldn't be allowed. Information on how to profit from this is minimal and secretive. It seems that deep pockets and insiders are the major benefactors of this type of investing and it is rotten right to the core.
I cheered when the Redditt guys turned the tables and wreaked devastation on a couple of the perpetrators of these short selling scams.
Pretium management, it seems, has done nothing and doing nothing is just like approval. Not everybody is doing it and individual traders are facing a knife that cuts both ways and could wipe out your portfolio but the devastation caused to good junior companies by this kind of trading is just plain wrong.
End of story!
I hope those short trader manipulators get wiped out just like what they are doing to serious bona fide ipos.
