RE:Sernova Global Partnership Family Office PresentationHere is my feedback:
1. Phil seems more confortable speaking. Probably because he has done this same presentation 50 times.
2. At the 13 minute mark, the slide shows before islet transplant, after 1st, and after 2nd. What exactly are the first and second transplants? Are they islets being added to the pouch or into the portal vein? Not very clear.
3. Still only 5/7 patients enrolled.
4. At 15:30 he starts to talk about Hemo studies where some companies stem cells are being used in the Cell Pouch and if they continue to trend positive...First I've heard of any work being done with hemo. Potentially one of the pharma collabs they announced a few months ago but I don't think they are hemo related.
5. at 19:04, the competitive landscape slide is misleading. Take a look a the local immune protection tech column. They have a check mark next to sernova yet we have 0 indication of either the coating or gene editing technologies as advancing. The other companies have question marks and a comment saying it hasn't been validated in humans. I find it ridiculous that SVA decides to put a check mark on their own. This should be and X or ? like the others.
