Nevada Copper Corp is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in the development, operation, and exploration of its copper project (the Project) at its Pumpkin Hollow Property (the Property) in Western Nevada, United States of America. Its two fully permitted projects include the high-grade Underground Mine and processing facility, which is undergoing a restart of operations, and a large-scale open pit PFS stage project. The Property is located in northwestern Nevada and consists of approximately 24,300 acres of contiguous mineral rights including approximately 10,800 acres of owned private land and leased patented claims. Pumpkin Hollow is located approximately 8 miles southeast of the small town of Yerington, Nevada in Lyon County, one- and one-half hours drive southeast of Reno. The Company’s wholly owned subsidiary is Nevada Copper, Inc.

Nick Atiemo, MBA, CEM

Environmental Manager

Mr. Atiemo has over 14 years experience in the mining industry as an Environmental Professional. He has spent most of his mining career with Placer Dome, Barrick Gold, and Nevada Gold Mines. His most recent assignment before joining Nevada Copper was Environmental Process Manager with Nevada Gold Mines, where he was part of a team responsible for assessing and evaluating the potential to permit a roasting facility at Cortez Mine in Nevada. Mr. Atiemo has significant experience in Environmental Management Systems, including Environmental Permitting and ISO-14001 implementation. During his time with Barrick Gold, he served in various roles including Senior Environmental Engineer, Environmental Superintendent, and Environmental Manager for Cortez Mine. Mr. Atiemo holds a variety of degrees and qualifications including a Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation, a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration. He is also a Certified Environmental Manager for the State of Nevada.
