RE:RE:Expected shareholder return of $4.20 per share 2021-2025Suncor has a team of financial professionals like any major public company who prepare their budgets and forecasts based upon accumulating and processing the huge amounts of information at their disposal.
Public companies like Suncor are dealing with billions of dollars in their calculations and can't just write any idiotic thing that enters their head like the buffoons on Stockhouse.
Suncor doesn't have control over the price of oil, but they rely upon the best information available in the market place, which is all anyone can do. Goldman Sachs is projecting US$80 oil this year based upon the best information they can find on oil demand and supply and then they have the best analysts in the world use that information to create their projections. Maybe our basher will provide us with the basis of his information and analysis about SU's "rose coloured glasses" cashflow projections so that we can compare.
I guess when you are as smart as some posters pretend to be, you can simply throw out the guidance offered by the sharpest minds in the oil and financial industries because you will never be held accountable for the dumb things you say. Public companies don't have that luxury.
