Getting Taken Out Seldom a Good Outcome

Getting Taken Out Seldom a Good Outcome If you own a company like this with great future potential you definitely do not want to get taken out. Those who think they’ve hit the jackpot when they collect a few farthings on the takeout of a company like ours are typically investors who have a history of doing poorly in the market. Therefore getting something like a 40% premium on a stock price that comes nowhere near to reflecting the actual value of the underlying company is like the score of a lifetime for them. They bend over willingly and take it, considering themselves prescient investors and real winners. This is usually about the only way these investors will ever make any money in the market.

The way you should want to make your money is by having the market recognize your company’s actual value and then selling when that recognition is reflected in the stock price. We want to be smart, successful investors, not desperate dabblers begging for a penny here and there.

With the vast gold resources on our property our stock price is far, far away from even coming close to reflecting the true value of those resources. I would hope that every investor in this company would resist any takeover attempt. When you luck upon a rare opportunity such as this you certainly don’t want to have it snatched from your hands.
