One additional note I add to my last post on this thread:
What is the reason why the market has bid up the share prices of LAB and NFLD?
- Is it because they believe in the potential in their claim package(s) as stand-alone companies?
- Is it because they happen to be next door to NFG and think what NFG has hit so far will be replicated by LAB and NFLD at some point?
- Is it because they think, as you do, that NFG will eventually acquire them at a premium.....?
If it's either of the latter two, it seems that geography would be the major driver of the share price rather than actual results they have produced to date.
Also, would their respective share prices be where they are now if they had identical claims packages (including the same chunk of a fault idential to Appleton) but located say, 80km west of NFG's territory?
As I've stated a few times in past posts: You don't score until you score.
Have a great night!
Well said. You don't score until you score. I like that one. And thanks for the correction on my interpretation of what you said back about a month ago. You set me straight diplomatically so I respect you for that. Thanks.
As for LAB and NFLD I think it's obvious that NFG has positioned themselves to pounce on any hint of another high grade gold discovery by either company. I really do think the guys at New Found Gold are building an empire and they want it all. They have no intention of selling out to a major mining company. There won't be any buyout in my opinion. They want to be that major mining company with a huge market valuation and these boys are going to make it happen. You can take that to the bank!!!
