RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Is Suncor trying to be something it is not...suncor has been the recipient of extreme largesse provided by Canadian Taxpayers via PetroCanada. Gulf oil, Pacific Petroleum, Petrofina, BP etc. Not to forget the East coast assets acquired from others by the Canadian Government .To not further develop the Upstream resources is pathetic and in my opinion exposes the treacherous and nefarious aspects of the Trudeaus and their panty waist followers. This is not about climate issues and never has been Certainly ,no one was talking about climate when Petrocanada was formed. This is about a group of people who are laughng at The rest of Canada's spirit of working together for the common good. I have bit my tongue long enough (40 years) . Time to kick these bums out!!

This misguided urge for ending petroleum will unleash a chaotic shitstorm not unlike the 1920's prohibition order . By weakening NA energy players you strengthen foreign oil and enrich dictators and despots . And like the 1920's , profits from "boot-legging" financed guns and underworld violence as oil profits will finance wars and terrorism . This point is lost when deluded policy discusion panders to fiction over fact .
Canada has never been sharp enough to see the forrest for the tree's . We threw away the AVRO Arrow and today we are allowing our greatest resource to be crippled by the Ottawa elite . WTI closed at $66.85 and this weekend kicks off driving season , Canadian energy stocks should be going up (most did today) . Combine that with a suspect FCF strategy and its another golden opportunity lost for SU shareholders .
