RE:Re:RE:Philippines political situationLove to believe you P but history is not backing you up.
Been on Duerte`s desk before.
Also as far as the " glaring Covid " The Philippines has only 1/10th the death rate as the US
and is only averaging 5000 Covid cases a day in past 7 days with a population of 111 million.
Sometimes things need to be put into context. Also we are not talking about Mother Teresa here.
I will leave you with the below for further clarity
20 June 2019 OCEANAGOLD PROVIDES AN UPDATE ON ITS PHILIPPINE OPERATIONS (MELBOURNE) OceanaGold Corporation (TSX: OGC) (ASX: OGC) (the “Company”) wishes to provide an update on the status of the Financial or Technical Assistance Agreement (“FTAA”) covering the Didipio operation. The Company lodged a notice to renew the FTAA in 2018 and has been working collaboratively with the Government of the Philippines (“Government”) on the renewal process. OceanaGold is encouraged by the responsive engagement from the Government to date and expects that the Didipio operation will continue to operate during the renewal process.
