It's the currency covertion. WFG reported Q1 in USD and yahoo fiance changed projections to USD a couple weeks ago.
So current 10.16 projection is USD (I think the last 3 changes were USD - I noticed because one day it was lower but then I saw the currency at bottom changed from CAD to USD).
The BNN guest analyst in April was saying WFG was producing $5/share per month or $15 per quarter at these prices which were in the $1300 range at the time.
Not crazy that they would be over $15 share CAD since lumber prices did hit $1600+ for awhile and plywood even higher.
If they keep buying back shares at last week's rate of 0.4% per week that will boost EPS nicely also going forward. They have over 600m shares to delete now.
When a company buys back shares and offically deletes them, does the share price increase by the percentage of shares deleted? The opposite of an ex div day I guess?
