RE:RE:Credit SuisseUS dollar is gaining on Canadian buck. I think the storm in Texas did a number on the company, but a lot of the renewals dropped as did NPI pretty much went down at the same time as AQN. I would say a lot of the companies that were flying high also dropped at the same time, so more of a correction for technicals and renewables.
I retired last summer and moved out of oil and pipeline stocks at the same time and moved into cleantech stocks including AQN some pay a dividend while others have grown from when I purchased them but dropped at the same time as AQN such as PYR and HPQ.
Dividend on AQN is decent and with the recent increase made up with the rise in Canadian dollar. But those who get their dividend in Canadian money will get a higher cash amount than last because of the drop in Canadian dollar.
I am happy as long as price stays above what I paid last year, so far so good, and love the dividend. My money won't grow sitting in a savings account better in have in stocks like AQN.
