RE:RE:Inflation If you were around at that time you would know that the us dropped the gold standard in 1971. In 1975 the Vietnam war started. Allies got brow beat to tow the line. Then there were a few good years of us government budgeting. Moving forward from there as long as the free money on borrowed time from the American citizen was monitored for financial institutions especially in the us the ball kept rolling.
The US dollar only recently started being weaponized. Notably within the last 10 or so years.
it doesn't take much effort on the old google to see that pension funds and central banks are opening policy on replacing the hedges they have to the US dollar. Yes they are switching to gold, not Bitcoin.
Personally I hope that I'm incorrect in my anticipation of this process gaining traction. Hopefully I have a few more years to gain non us stocks and a larger foreign exposure to gold.
