RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Testing is way forward Has not been cleared or approved by the FDA ...just accepted under EUA. Does not have the sensitivity of AcuVid and can only be purchased by health professionals???
The QuickVue SARS Antigen Test has not been FDA cleared or approved, but has been authorized by the FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for use by authorized laboratories for the detection of proteins from SARS-CoV-2, not for any other viruses or pathogens.
*Testing is limited to laboratories certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA), 42 U.S.C. §263a, that meet the requirements to perform moderate, high or waived complexity tests.
While they now also sell an at home test it is unavailable from Amazon.com and there is no indication when or if it will be available again. Furthermore it was never available in Canada.
So apparently U (you) can't buy this test. I don't know what your end game is on this board TheeRock ....but please do your homework before posting.
