Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

I just didn't have the funds and lost everything on margin and only had 18000 share at one point.  I couldn't buy more and lost my CRA refund day trading.


I have 90000 shares now but still need $5 to squeak out a modest profit.  This 7 year odyssey is not over and I just am not convinced it's all up from here.

I do think if I sell at $5 I can live with myself but it might keep going at that point.  At $5 I will sell and pay off my debts and let the rest ride.  I would still own about 25000 shares at that point.  It might be better to diversify at that point and not play the Russian Roulette cycle.

I just don't know if I can stomach the ride up to $5 as it might not even make it even halfway there.
