What is more irksome is they borrow long shares to short sell and steal money from the long shareholder position. Without the uptick they can do this at will. Unless a company has a huge insider share holding (NFG) that are not traded, they are ripe for the picking as is Sokoman. Hopefully the large position held by Sprott and other warrant excercisers will become firmly held shares so some of the shares can be held out of the market for a while.
