Of course they are. Lots of investors are buying Bitcoin on margins.

Also Tether coinage is being used to purchase Bitcoin but the problem with Tether it not worth a US dollar. They say that one Tether coin is equal to 1 US dollar but unfortunately there isn't enough US dollars to back the amount of Tether coinage in the system.
