To be honest, that video is a little off base...There are simply too many influential/powerful forces at play (i.e. Big Government, private wealth) that will make the green in green wave fluoresce even brighter. The market for hydrocarbons is already shrinking & the green squeeze on Big oil/gas will only get tighter...just as I predict many shorts of HPQ will soon experience.
Finally, Big oil is being taken back to school & becoming quick learners (out of necessity) re: this inevitable global energy transformation. Not only are key governments buying in, the global customer base is rapidly growing. As regulations & go-green incentives expand, so is customer/public pressure to go green, which will ultimately force the collective Big oil's hand. Big oil/gas are quickly realizing that in order to maintain their handsome profits, they're going to have to ride the wave & expand where the markets are expanding....& governments are heading with no turning back. JMHO. GLTA!
