In seeking to track the performance of the S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Select Industry Index, the fund employs a sampling strategy. It generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index. The index represents the oil and gas exploration and production segment of the S&P Total Market Index (S&P TMI).

1st quarter results

XOP's partner, Cuda Oil and Gas have reported their daily production numbers for the
1st quarter. 347 bopd. Down 6% from quarter 4 of last year. Apparently propane was too expensive so they reduced gas injection.

You can multiply by 2.1 which gives XOP's volume. About 730 barrels of oil per day.

If production has improved over the last month, you would think the company might provide with their bi-weekly report.
