On the other hand, an "Acquisition" is when one company takes over another, and the bought company is absorbed into that parent company's corporate culture.
IM Cannabis' planned purchase of MYM Nutraceuticals is technically an "Acquisition", not a "Merger".
Once the deal is cancelled, MYM will likely see their share price goes up.
