10,000 years ago the area around Toronto and the area south of it was covered by aproximately 200 feet of ice.
When this massive ice cover melted, the great lakes formed, among other bodies of water.
So, how many factories, how many aeroplanes, how many gasoline or diesel powered vehicles
were there 10,000 thousand years ago?
It was THE SUN that did it then, just as the the same sun that keeps us warm and helps us grow vegetables and fruit, today.
To think that we, humans can change the climate(which is the some total of meteorological events over many years) is prepostreous, or just plain stupid.
