RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Powerful Final Submission to CAFCNot quite 0.  Stock based compensation expense for 2020 was $1.015 million.  However, the fact that they did not perform, and many of the options expired worthless is even more proof that they should show they can perform before they are rewarded.  Instead, over the years, as the options expired, they were simply replaced with cheaper ones.  Guess the theory was, at some point, the shares will increase, perhaps if the Apple case is settled.  Do you really think Paul Hill, John Rim, David Cortens, Rish  and several of the newer BOD members deserve a payout if Wi-Lan obtains a payment from Apple.  These people NEVER worked for Wi-Lan, had NOTHING to do with the patent or lawsuits in question, and simply would get a big boost merely because they got hired by Quarterhill.  Outrageous.
