RE:RE:Powerful Final Submission to CAFCjenkinjt, you raise the issue of some recent insider selling. The two sellers this year were James Skippen and Prashant Watchmaker.
Both have some history of selling periodically, including soon after option exercises. They would not be the first people I've encountered who would tend toward the view that, no matter how compelling the story may look, you should, as a kind of discipline, lighten up from time to time.
Still, you could ask, why now?
While there's much to like in this story, the interesting stuff relating to WiLAN appears to be all in the back half of 2021 (or later). So Q2 could see very low WiLAN revenues. If so, then Q2 will show a loss no matter how well IRD does.
If Q2 shows a loss but also there are super positive developments (re WiLAN or IRD) will the stock go up or down? Could go either way. Depends on investors' time horizons as well as their confidence in the Q story. But given the history of the stock, it's certainly possible the stock will fall.
Anyways, this could explain the insider selling.
My expectation is that current sellers will eventually look foolish. But "eventually" can take a while.
