The Cinesa exhibition circuit will open its first D-BOX room in Catalonia on Friday, March 12 at Cinesa La Maquinista in Barcelona . This system allows the seats to incorporate movement synchronized with the image and sound of the film, which makes it possible for the viewer to become part of the action.
The new room at La Maquinista, which has a total of 44 seats, is also a LUXE room , a format that the company has been implementing for more than three years and that reflects its commitment to technology, comfort and innovation. Just a year ago, Cinesa made Cinesa La Maquinista the first of its cinemas to bet on the hybrid format, incorporating two LUXE rooms, which are now completed with this third LUXE D-BOX room, within a cinema with conventional rooms.
Until that moment, it had focused exclusively on the inauguration of complete cinemas under this concept, with reclining seats, wider than usual, with greater space between rows in all the rooms and with a folding table to promote a more comfortable cinema experience and relaxed.

Cinesa La Maquinista will start its LUXE D-BOX theater with the projection of some of the latest great successes of recent times, such as 'Star Wars Episode 9' and 'Le Mans'. Since July 2018, Cinesa has already opened six LUXE complexes.
