Where I think we are going SIC looking strong today and I think the Company is being re-rated based on Tim`s brilliant move in acquiring those strategic land packages (Fleurs by SIC alone and 3 JV`s with Benton). Those land packages have specific types of geology which were shown in a slide early on in the webcast the other day. Not sure whether it is in the current SIC corporate presentation but it showed all SIC`s properties including the JV ones and the different types of geology.
We have upcoming assays, probably some next week, which I think will continue to be very good to stellar (footwall splay and south pond).
The barge program drilling on the Eastern Trend pond starting in August will be very important according to Tim. I am really hoping for the best on that one. That could be a major game changer and could shed a lot more light into the nature of this structure. I am a bit nervous on it since I think it will shed light on going deeper right into the belly of the eastern trend.
Somewhere between the above two paragraphs, I fully expect SIC to do a major financing to capitalize on the hot gold market and hot Newfoundland region. They will be able to do it easily, with all factors being equal (I mean no major changes in the macro global environment affecting the junior gold universe). Then I fully expect them to plan to do some small initial drilling on one or more of the other land packages (after airborne surveys and other preliminary work). I believe getting moving on these other prorperties will happen quicker than nornal since new investors in a large PP will expeect it. Maybe early next year.
Just my thoughts, however there are sooooo many surprises in the junior space. It is like walking into a dark room and turning on the light, you never know what you will see.
