RE:Likely Very Little Sediment (better word choice)I believe it is all speculation due to the fact only a small amount of very encouraging drilling has been done.
I don't visualize large rocks on the bottom of this lake. When you take the rock out of the ground, you grind it up to particles about the size of sand and silt, then you run it through what they call a concentration plant and it separates the minerals of interest from the waste. The waste becomes tailings, and it gets mixed up with water, and it’s pumped out into this manmade lake.
It’s basically sand-sized particles, but there’s an awful lot of it that’s produced relative to the minerals that generate all that cash. In the case of Skeena the good news is the previous operator knew they were throwing out Ag and Au. due to low pricing at that time.
I suspect we may all be surprised when the finally tally comes out. As Taylor Dart suggested this could be in the 400 K oz perhaps better? All speculation but worth dreaming about and it can only add value to Skeena.
