RE:RE:Stage of developmentI agree completely with your assessment of Greg-he is a world class finder of gold, but not a mine builder. However Greg is not running this company anymore, in fact I just wrote two cheques for his next two ventures(if Greg Isnor is involved then I want a piece of the action-end of stoy)
This company is Nana's and I just do not have a feel for what his approach will be. Obviously he is more of a deal maker than Greg(based on past empoyment)-my gut tells me he is more comfortable building through acquisition than the drilbit. I would be very surprised if he has not already had indepth talks with BTO and Barrick to explore synergies. And do not overlook the influence of the Mai government in this. Obviously the federal government of Mali knows that it needs to rebuild investor confidence but they are aso in desparate need of royalty income and employment. I am sure that they are aware that the fastest way to realize cashflow from this project is to have an existing major take out Roscan and develop our project as a satelite-much faster than Roscan building infrastructure from scratch. They do not want to be seen as leaning on anyone but behind the scenes I wouldn't be surprised if the government has made their wishes known.
