RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:hmm...this is fishy.Cheadle I want to make it clear that my post was not meant to mock your assumptions but was intended to get all of the past few days trading events listed so that we can actually perhaps gain an understanding of what is going on with Crew. Something we do a very good job of on this board! We were all predicting this price run up for the past year, based on solid DD and it is rewarding to see it come to fruition.
The move up from $1.14 to $1.45 was done in a very controlled and deliberate manner which I am still trying to understand. I expected a pullback today to re-test the low $1.30's but I was pleasently surprised to see a move to $1.44 instead.
My comment about "insiders selling as a decoy" was me trying to understand why Leach would sell 100K of stock just prior to the run. Is he really not in Crew's "inner circle" any longer? Or if insiders at Crew were truly unaware of this price run up, then is it setting up for a hostile?
When I mentioned it was" fun" that is because watching stocks with little or no activity can be draining. The fact that we have plausible cause for M&A action involving our beloved Crew, is extremely exciting.
The main thing to keep in mind is that Crew has an amazing Montney position, they have a boat load of DUC's that can be completed and placed on production as they see fit. They are no longer under any pressure to expend more capital on drilling wells. They can take a moment and breathe for a few quarters and perhaps enjoy their position.
Or they could get taken out at any moment. Gotta love the oilpatch.
