I think it also interesting how they suggest the PPL shares will drop for a while after the merger because Brookfield and other inst holders would be selling their shares. That would be a plus from a long term holders standpoint. It would give them an opportunity to pick up some more shares at a cheaper price.

In reality, I'm guessing Brookfield is a bit more savy than that and would sell their shares in such a manner as to not create a downward push on the share price to maximize their return.
