RE:RE:RE:RE:mildly terrifying...

RE:RE:RE:RE:mildly terrifying...I am sorry NV man - I know the numbers are terrifying, but yes they are talking about primary Ni production.  Use an external source - I've attached this NRCAN link but use any source you like.  Workd Ni production - roughly - is 2.5mt - Indonesia produces a whopping third of this - around 800kt.  That is a fact.  This article says that Indonesian primary Ni production is set to TRIPLE to equal current world production by 2030. Yes it's scary but that is exactly what the article is saying.  I do realize they mainly produce NPI but there are several HPAL projects in the pipe. Regardless these numbers are primary Ni equivalents.

"NPI capacity is set to rise to two million tonnes per year by the end of 2023, while the bank has identified eight projects with cumulative annual capacity of 450,000 tonnes looking to go down the battery-grade processing route. Based on further expansions that could be announced... there is more upside than downside to our forecast that Indonesian production could hit 2.5 million tonnes as early as 2028, Lennon said.
